That's literally the only time I've died, and I'm not overgeared by any means (Full DL with CT chest). The ONLY thing that could realistically go wrong in this, which I've only seen happen once, is if the WAR, King and THF all hit the MT at the same time, while the BRD just cast his damage aura. Assign the best geared healer to only heal the MT, that should be more than enough.Īs long as the MT moves every time the BRD tries to buff the King, he'll be perfectly fine. The OT grabs just the PLD, and moves it southeast. I too have been farming Mogglemog for a while now (14 kills on record), and the strategy I've been using to great success is the MT pulling both the King and the WAR, and pulling them over to the west side. Furthermore, tanking both PLD and WAR will do a lot of damage, while the King is still doing a lot of damage to the other tank. That will kill at least the tank, probably more. That means a taunt and a moogle-go-round at the same time. If you pull both the WAR and the PLD, and the group takes too long killing everything else, the King will make both of them use their special moves at the same time. There is a very minor but important issue with this strategy.
